It started snowing yesterday morning as the kids and I were halfway to church. Sahsez was getting pretty excited but I told her "Don't get your hopes up: it's not going to stick."
By the time we were leaving church at 11:15, it was sticking like the Dickens. The walk home was a little tricky, but Sahsez was in good spirits and didn't care that we were getting soaked and the wind was whipping our faces and that she fell down on some slippery steps. We haven't had snow like this in ten years and then, of course, she wasn't alive yet, so this is pretty special for her.
Today, Tobias couldn't go to work because the bus wasn't running. Sahsez' school was closed as well. So we had a home day, and went out and looked at the snow and revelled in it.
I have 3370 words left to write in my novel. I think I will finish one day early. The writing got easier as the month went on. Unfortunately, the product still stinks.
